Mantell Associates are currently partnered with a Global CRDMO. They are currently on the search for a Senior Director of Biology. This individual will be the leading scientific representative to all of their global clients; You need to have a strong understanding of the science, and be able to converse well with the clients as you will be required to undertake strategic thinking and at times serve as a member of the Core Teams
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with our global clients as a leading scientific representative of the client's understanding and ensuring the translation of program and portfolio goals to specific proposals and research plans, as well as the execution of those plans. Provides updates on program progress and timelines as needed.
Work closely and collaboratively with other Functional Leads to provide scientific and strategic insight to the members of cross-functional program Core Teams to help drive multiple (6-10) therapeutic discovery programs from target validation through to clinical candidate selection, across varied therapeutic areas, and including selection of relevant diseases and specific patient populations.
Key Experiences:
Ph.D. in biological sciences with minimum 10 years’ experience in a Pharma / Biotech and minimum 4 years as core team member and/or program leader.
Demonstrated ability to lead a biology team driving projects from target validation through to clinical candidate nomination.
