Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established organisation. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of a Senior Director of Business Development.
Senior Business Development Director - Responsibilities:
Oversee all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities for the organisation
Build and train Sales team members and allocate necessary resources
Identify and explore new business areas to expand the company
Foster long-term relationships with clients, using existing networks and sales tools to increase the client base
Ensure exceptional client experience across all touchpoints by collaborating with the Commercial team
Work closely with the Marketing team to create effective marketing strategies that attract and retain clients, raise awareness of company capabilities and services, and generate revenue
Negotiate contracts and agreements, and prepare client proposals and bids
Attend important conferences to increase the company's visibility
Senior Business Development Director - Requirements:
Possess professional experience working in commercial functions such as Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management
Have experience in leading and managing commercial teams
Exhibit strong networking skills and ability to establish connections with people from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrate a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exhibit independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Comfortable with utilising technology as an integral part of the sales process
Possess highly organised and detail-oriented traits, capable of managing multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously
