Job description

Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable organization and aims to strengthen its Sales team by appointing a Senior Account Manager for an exciting and fast-growing CDMO. This position requires a deep understanding of the small molecule industry, focused on selling drug products and service sales.

Senior Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to identify, target, and win new business and IP generation

  • Understand customer needs and requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for business growth and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective customers, and negotiate terms and conditions to close sales

  • Develop long-term contracts (supply agreements, joint development agreements, licensing agreements)

Senior Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, or chemical engineering

  • Business development experience with a strength in services or pharmaceutical ingredients

  • Strong negotiation skills for complex contracts

  • Experience in pharmaceutical API's, ingredients, or service sales within CDMO
