Mantell Associatesis currently partnered with a leading Biologics CRO, in their search for a Sales Specialist. Our client is looking for an experienced commercial professional, who will be responsible for increasing revenue for their biologics testing services to existing and new clients in the EU region.
Sales Specialist - Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Biologics Testing activities, where you will join a team of Sales professionals, who report to the European Sales Manager.
Covering specific EU territories and Germany, ensuring key accounts are developed.
You must be available and willing to travel regularly for client meetings and trade shows/conferences (at least 40% of your time).
You will be responsible for proposals, contracts, market analyses, accurate territory forecasts and reports.
Work closely with the PM team in Germany and at their global facilities.
Sales Specialist - Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (biology, biotechnology, chemistry or equivalent). An advanced degree (MS, PhD) in biopharmaceutical sciences (molecular biology, virology, bioprocessing, etc.) would be beneficial.
Experienced in selling with a service company in the biotech sector, CMO or CRO.
Practical lab experience with a biotech/pharma company would be beneficial.
Strong knowledge of GMP and current ICH, FDA & EMA regulations.
Thorough knowledge of the EU biotech/pharma sector.
Fluent in verbal and written English and German.
