Mantell Associates is a multi-award winning Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Executive Search firm based in the City of London, UK. Since being established in January 2019, Mantell Associates has grown from 1 to 65 employees, as of January 2023. We have recently open an office in Miami, Florida and also have an office in Zug, Switzerland.
We are currently hiring for a Sales Director to drive our UK Sales. You will be responsible for overseeing 6 teams and around 45 sales people across Permanent and Contract. Mantell Associates is a growing organisation and this role has scope to grow into a Chief Commercial Officer. The role reports into our CEO, Alessandro Mantell.
Sales Director - Responsibilities
Achieving a high-performance, vocationally-driven culture
Coaching and mentoring Business Managers and their teams (live call coaching & delivering face to face training)
Win new accounts through leveraging and maximising relationships
Setting motivational KPIs and using management and coaching skills to get the best out of your team
People management of Business Managers – holding 121 development meetings and being an escalation point for suggestions, issues or queries
Work closely with Head of Marketing on commercial campaigns
Overseeing training & development – working with our L&D coach to build on the business
Drive business development – supporting client calls and closing calls
Work closely with CEO, CFO & Head of People on staffing requirements as business grows and changes
Act as an ambassador for Mantell Associates in the market, understanding that each interaction is an important part of building our brand and network
Sales Director - Requirements
Previous experience within the Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical recruitment space is essential
Track record of success in prior roles such as career advancement and progression, exceeding revenue goals
Experience in an organisation that has sold would be desirable
Ability to manage multiple people at once with high energy and determination. A leader that people can aspire to be like
Exceptional ability to build relationships with people at all levels
Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated with a ‘go-getter’ attitude
