Mantell Associates is partnered with a Medical Device organisation who are seeking a R&D Project Manager (Design & Development) to join their growing team.
R&D Project Manager – Responsibilities:
- Carry out design and development activities for new products or new processes
- Write design files
- Participate in the development, analysis or physicochemical testing of the products developed
- Write test protocols and reports
- Participate in writing/drafting design-related reports
- Manage the projects for which you are responsible according to the defined Quality/cost/deadline objectives
- Write “reports” relating to project monitoring
- Carry out bibliographic monitoring activities relating to your field of activity
- Participate in regulatory/normative monitoring activities relating to your field of activity
- Participate in competitive intelligence activities relating to your field of activity
- Participate in conferences or trade shows related to design projects
- Participate in the development and fine-tuning of analysis methods
- Study, propose and develop improvements to existing products or processes
- Participate in design modification activities
- Participate in the drafting of procedures and operating methods relating to design, development and industrialization activities
- Respect, apply and participate in the evolution of the QMS
R&D Project Manager – Requirements:
- Higher education in science (such as chemistry, biochemistry, or pharmacy, supplemented by knowledge of polysaccharides, polymers, formulation and medical devices)
- Initial industrial experience in the medical devices, polysaccharides, rheology or hyaluronic acid sector
- Good analytical skills
- Real ability to communicate (orally/written)
- Keen sense of organization
- Ability to listen and adapt as well as a recognized initiative
- Knowledge of Regulatory (European Medical Device Regulation 2017/745) and normative (ISO 13485:2016 – 21 CFR820) requirements
- Knowledge of risk analysis management, project management, basic statistical tools or even usability files
- Fluent in English & French both spoken and written
