​Mantell Associates are thrilled to have partnered with a growing Biotech who have a pipeline of pre-clinical and clinical targets focusing on a range of oncological diseases. They’re looking for a Principal Bioinformatician or team leader to join them.

This role can be remote across Europe with travel once a month to site in Central Europe

Principal Bioinformatician - Responsibilities:

• Develop and analyse bioinformatics pipelines

• Oversee the development of bioinformatics software, tools, and pipelines, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and performance

• Developing scripts/workflows both to automate repetitive computations and answer biological questions raised by research scientists

• Analysing large biological datasets using NGS analysis (single-cell RNA sequencing preferred)
  

Principal Bioinformatician - Requirements:

• PhD in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics or similar

• 4 – 6 years' industry experience in a Biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment

• Familiarity with cancer genetics and/or the DNA damage response

• Any experience with building Machine Learning models or algorithms highly advantageous

• Experience working with oncology data is highly preferred
