Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing Global CRO who are seeking a Medical Director to join their skilled Nephrology team.

Medical Director, Nephrology - Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight for the Clinical, Medical, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality teams, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory and clinical bodies

• Collaborate on both development and licensed products, including new assets and indications, to expand the pipeline

• Partner with the leadership team to formulate and design new protocols

• Offer expert clinical trial advice, drawing on extensive clinical knowledge

• Provide medical oversight for ongoing clinical trials, working closely with medical monitors

• Ensure medical safety oversight for pharmacovigilance, as well as providing Medical Affairs input for licensed products

• Act as the disease expert for the product, working closely with relevant teams to identify safety trends

• Interact with local and regional regulatory authorities to provide support for clinical trial-related matters

• Develop the growing pipeline with a mix of new products and licensed product indications

• Build new and existing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders

Medical Director, Nephrology - Requirements:

• Board Certified in Nephrology

• Possesses extensive experience in Clinical Development

• Familiar with Clinical Safety and Regulatory Bodies

• A commercially-minded physician who is skilled in cross-functional work

• Has experience working directly with senior management teams

• Possesses excellent knowledge of business principles and cultural awareness

• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset and exceptional understanding of the market landscape

• Proven success in prospecting and lead generation
