Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading biotech who is searching for a Managing Director to join their organisation.
Managing Director – Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a large team of employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Manage and oversee all aspects of operations, including supply chain, logistics, and inventory management
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and report to senior management on a regular basis
- Oversee production and quality departments
- Be knowledgeable of, and pay attention to, tax liabilities, implications, and exemptions of company actions
- Continuous growth of capacity and profitability
- Ability to support the Business Plan by developing strategic business interventions and strategies with the leadership teams
- Ability to design and take ownership of the strategic vision for a complex business, as well as communicating, orchestrating and leading its delivery
Managing Director – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership position within the beauty or consumer goods industry
- Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in a competitive market
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a global team
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth
