Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a leading Pharma organisation who is seeking a Lead Buyer R&D Services to join their team.

Lead Buyer R&D Services - Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the global purchasing of R&D outsourcing activities in close cooperation with the international R&D teams over the entire life cycle

• Responsible for building international and regional category strategies

• Selection of and negotiation with CRO's and other services in the research environment for all entities

• Supervision of strategic suppliers in the R&D area

• Contact person and responsible for conducting commercial audits at R&D suppliers

• Evaluation and optimization of supplier pools and new selections

Lead Buyer R&D Services - Requirements:

• Completed pharmacy or scientific studies with kfm. Understanding

• You have professional experience in the sourcing of R&D services

• Experience in working on strategic projects in an international environment

• You are flexible, open-minded and a team player with excellent communication skills

• In addition, you work responsibly, self-confidently and have a structured and result-oriented way of working

• Your appearance is confident, you have negotiating skills and good presentation skills

• A moderate willingness to travel internationally

• Very good written and spoken English
