Job description

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established organisation. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage Key Accounts: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges. Serve as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for all their requirements

  • Strategic Account Planning: Conduct thorough account analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic account plans. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies and effectively deliver solutions that meet client needs

  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within assigned accounts. Actively pursue new business opportunities and expand the client base

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with key clients to provide updates on products, services, and industry trends. Address client concerns promptly and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of client projects. Collaborate on product development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with clients. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations

  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and proactively address challenges

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on key account performance, sales activities, and forecasts. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Key Account Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably selling cosmetics, beauty, hair care or hygiene products

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales strategies and techniques

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client needs and develop effective solutions

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
