Mantell Associates is currently partnered with an innovative genomic testing Biotech organisation, who are currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist who will be responsible for hunting and prospecting new leads for the Business Development team.

Inside Sales Specialist - Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound/outbound calls and emails to introduce products/services and identify sales prospects

  • Follow up on leads, answer inquiries, and provide additional information as needed

  • Research and qualify leads to ensure they align with the target customer profile

  • Record relevant customer information, interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system

  • Work with the BD team to achieve sales targets by effectively closing deals and upselling products/services

  • Understand customer needs and requirements through effective communication

  • Stay informed about product and service offerings, features, benefits, and updates

  • Demonstrate and explain product features to potential customers

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' products/services

  • Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and approaches

  • Maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment

  • Monitor and track sales performance regularly, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets

  • Data entry and clerical duties

Inside Sales Specialist - Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field

  • Proven experience in inside sales or a related sales role. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve sales targets

  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on understanding and addressing customer needs

  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Results driven, self-motivated, self-confident, competitive, with a positive attitude

  • Excellent time management and has a keen sense of urgency to complete each task

  • Computer and technology proficiency: Microsoft Office, Chrome, Outlook, etc.

  • Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers' needs and provide the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience

  • Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective communication skills
