Who we are looking for:
Must have:
Chattered Accountant Qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or Completing the exams.
At least 1 years' experience of working in a busy, fast-paced accounts department in a transactional role.
Growth mindset – dedicated to growing your skills as a professional and ready to step in and own the entire Finance function
Excellent Excel and general IT skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be based in the UK
Demonstrable experience of reporting financial performance, budgeting and forecasting, and long range plans aligned to strategic objectives.
Fluent in English
Bachelor's degree of 1.1. or 2.1
Ideal but not essential:
Experience within a sales environment
Knowledge of an additional language

Position Details
Mantell Associates is currently going through some exciting changes; with a focused modern and collaborative ‘one team’ approach. As our Head of Finance, you will be supporting the CEO on daily, monthly, and yearly audits. You will be overseeing all internal and external financial reporting for the syndicate within the business whilst looking to continuously improving and implementing new processes. Duties:
Daily invoice scanning, entry and processing (accounting processes including cash receipts, online payments, petty cash and purchases made with credit cards.)
The ability to be hands-on with detail, while also being able to communicate concisely to the CEO, external partners, suppliers, and non-financial people internally. A strong confidant to cross-functional colleagues.
Report to the CEO, and lead all finance functions, including the external and internal reporting, as well as preparation of monthly shareholder updates and board meetings.
Manage all financial integration of future international sites.
Preparing weekly payment runs
Assistance in Audits (internal/external)
Preparing manual UK/International payments
Cash flow forecasting and assist in annual budget processes
Administering accounting processes including cash receipts, online payments, petty cash
and purchases made with credit cards. (Processing staff expenses in line with company policy)
