Director Project Management - Responsibilities:
Serve as the key interface between the site’s Project and Program Managers and the Head of Customer Project & Program Management.
Oversight of Program /Project Manager execution of project requirements to ensure delivery according to internal and contractual requirements and organizational needs; ensure appropriate program/project methodologies are streamlined and followed.
Manage and track all program costs, schedules and performance against established program milestones and contractual requirements; reporting the status to management stakeholders on a regular basis.
Lead and oversee the site’s PjM/PgM team to ensure that they’re seen as the unequivocal leaders of their projects and teams to include taking command of all meetings and communications, playing the central role in leading project decisions and providing the primary source of information to teammates and clients for their assigned programs.
Support and participate in continuous improvement activities
Director Project Management - Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of combined technical and project management experience in the biotech industry with a Bachelor’s degree or minimum 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree; CDMO experience desired.
Direct project management experience in managing complex, multiple biopharmaceutical programs.
Experience in the development, cGMP manufacturing, testing and release operations of biologicals and pharmaceutical products.
Experience in managing personnel, including their development and career advancements.
