Director of Project Management Responsibilities:

• Take their global PMO structure and manage project staffing requirements to the next level.

• Develop and implement, government processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.

• Implement efficiencies to meet and exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation

• Expert-level knowledge of project and portfolio management, with at least 10 years of highly relevant experience, which includes project management office experience.

• Experience in running multiple complex projects in parallel.

• Extensive experience with the application of resource management tools in a complex organization.

Director of Project Management Requirements:

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industry

• Oversight must ensure projects are progressing positively

• Managing understudies to help them develop skills and capabilities - leadership element of the role

• Managing risk effectively to prevent avoidable damages

• Building strong client and working relationships

• Can stay composed, even under severe stress, to manage and finish a job effectively
