Job description

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a Specialist Life Science Consultancy business who specialise in Commercialization, Market Access and Commercial Strategy, whilst working with clients from Preclinical phases all the way through to launch.

Having seen 50% growth in the past year alone, they are now seeking their first Business Development hire to lead and grow a new division for the business in a Business Development Director role.

Director of Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Lead global New Business Development efforts with Pharmaceutical and Biotech businesses across the US and Europe

  • Manage and develop existing client base

  • Deliver sales against target

  • Work closely with internal divisions to identify new business opportunities

  • Lead and grow a new Business Development function in the business

Director of Business Development Requirements:

  • Be an experienced leader in the Life Science space with direct experience working with a Consultancy / Service provider

  • 10-12 years experience in Business Development

  • Have an understanding of Market Access & Commercialization

  • Have existing relationships with Pharmaceutical & Biotech organisations

  • Track record in working directly with clients across the Life Science industry
