Mantell Associates are partnered with an exciting and rapidly growing CDMO organisation who are on the search for a business development director to provide specialist services to large pharmaceutical clients across the US.

Director of Business Development Responsibilities:
High-energy, business development director who can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting relationships.
The ideal candidate to have a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive, fast-growing market.
Own a significant cohort of leads and opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential customer to securing a deal
Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
Be the spearhead of communicating our value proposition to potential customers
Deeply uncover and understand customer needs and ensure we offer and provide the full extent
Maintain an accurate and up to date view of all leads and opportunities under your ownership
Director of Business Development Requirements:
A bachelor's or master's degree in a variety of business or life science areas, or an equivalent degree.
Technical knowledge of pharmaceutical, drug discovery/ life science, with corresponding subject expertise
3-7 years first hand experience establishing life science market presence/ selling services
Have a good working relationship with others
Convey strong vocal and writing abilities
A propensity to overcome any level of stress or distraction to complete jobs to a high standard
