Job description

Mantell Associates are currently partnered with a heavily respected inhalation and drug delivery devices organisation who are on the search for a Commercial Director/Head of Business Development to lead and grow the business even further.

Commercial Director - Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strategically leading and managing the deployed field commercial team across the EMEA territory to develop and drive market access and subsequent sales

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing market access and sales adoption of a new product.

  • Working closely with the senior leadership team (Recruitment, HR, Training, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Legal) to ensure a team is built to support the launch of the client product

  • Ensure the sales team deploy ethical and compliant practices across the country and in line with national laws and requirements

  • Coaching and mentorship of the sales managers enabling them to drive success through their teams

  • Take responsibility for ensuring information flow and all other deliverables are completed on time (i.e., CRM, field team onboarding, regional training program) and within the budget set.

Commercial Director - Requirements:

  • An accurate and developed knowledge of the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industry

  • Resulting experience in pharmaceutical sales and commercial activity spanning at least 3-5 years

  • Increase company’s commercial prowess

  • A strategic mindset, to aid progression and organisation company wide

  • A great leader with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Be able to generate revenue and growth
