Mantell Associates is partnered with a growing Pharmaceutical organisation, who are seeking an experienced CHRO to join their leadership team.

As Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), you will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.

CHRO - Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on key organizational and management issues

  • Foster a culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus, and services

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent

  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals

  • Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement and productivity

  • Implement effective training and development programs to build leadership capabilities at all levels

  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee wellness and diversity

  • Develop and implement performance management systems that support a high-performance culture

  • Provide guidance on performance evaluations, promotions, and career development opportunities

  • Address and resolve employee relations issues

  • Develop competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and requirements regarding employment practices

  • Oversee HR operations globally, ensuring consistency and compliance across all regions

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements

  • Lead initiatives to support organizational change, growth, and restructuring

  • Develop strategies to manage transitions and minimize disruptions during organizational changes

CHRO - Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is highly desirable

  • Proven experience in managing a global HR function.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management software
