Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading drug discovery CRDMO in their search of Business Development Director.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the sales and growth of our drug discovery services
Expanding customer base and establishing strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration
Identify and prioritize target customers and markets for drug discovery services
Collaborate closely with clients to identify customized solutions and address their specific requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field. A Ph.D. is preferred but not mandatory
Proven track record in business development and sales within the CRO industry with a focus on drug discovery services
In-depth knowledge of drug discovery processes, chemistry, and biology to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients
Strong understanding of the challenges and trends in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels, from scientists to C-level executives
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
