Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing organisation on their search for a Business Development Manager, where you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory. Your responsibility will be to play a key role in identifying and developing prospects to expand the portfolio and growth.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:
Administrative work including managing pipelines and closing opportunities
Understand the customers’ research application and internal pinpoints, and match the companies services and products portfolio to align with the customer’s needs
Customer visits, attending conferences and vendor shows while building customer relationships in order to achieve quota
Other duties as assigned
Business Development Manager - Requirements:
Master’s degree or above degree in scientific disciplines majoring in life science area
Relevant sales experience required (1-5 years) and a high level of technical and professional expertise
Knowledge of the Biological and CRO or CDMO market or general biotech industry is preferred
Ability to manage sales pipelines, and accurately forecast sales within territory on a weekly basis
Must be action and execution oriented, possess the ability to work independently, with a high degree of interpersonal savvy, organizational agility, and managerial courage
