Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a market leading Biologics CDMO, who are in search for a new Business Development Manager to take the lead in the DACH region. This CDMO provides top quality services to Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients on a global scale.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, generate and develop new leads and business opportunities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute all client sales activities alongside collaborating with scientific experts

  • Network and build relationships at a decision-maker level across key accounts

  • Work cross-functionally with Operations and the internal BD team to direct and coordinate client visits

  • Account planning & execution and forecasting responsibilities

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proven experience in managing the sales process from lead generation through to closing; including prospecting, networking and follow-ups

  • Experience in creating and executing territory sales plans

  • Knowledge and contacts within the Global Parma/Biotech industry (preferred)

  • A good command of English and German; both spoken and written. Other European languages are also desired
