​Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading research service organisation providing high quality solutions for small molecule, large molecule, human and animal tissues, cell products, blood and other biofluids and are currently on a mission to continue expanding their presence in Europe.

Business Development Manager - Key Responsibility:

  • Responsible for achieving regional sales targets on a quarterly basis in accordance with the annual corporate sales plan.

  • Qualify, establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships for relevant accounts within the sales territory. These activities include lead generation, cold calling and prospecting, customer sales calls, appropriate telephone and email follow-up, and reporting.

  • Create and implement appropriate strategies for developing key account business including the arrangement of specific promotions such as one-day table shows, national tradeshows, technical seminars, presentations etc., as requested by Director of Business Development.

  • Conduct presentations to multi-functional customer groups, including scientists, quality, purchasing, and others as appropriate.

Business Development Manager - Key Requirements:

  • Scientific, Masters or PhD degree required.

  • Strong self-starter with a consultative selling approach.

  • Proven sales track record (2-5 years) in selling services (or relevant products) to the pharmaceutical industry (including top 10 pharma).

  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and relationships with customers, including C-suite, Purchasing and Technical.
