Mantell Associates is partnered with a Biotechnology organisation who are looking for motivated scientific, business and healthcare professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit. They are currently searching for an Assistant Manager of Operations to join their team.
Assistant Manager of Operations - Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the plasma center, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Manage and lead a team (25+) of medical, administrative, and support staff to achieve operational goals
Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of collected plasma.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for donor screening, collection, and processing
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines
Develop and maintain relationships with the local community to enhance donor recruitment efforts
Conduct regular staff training sessions on safety protocols, donor care, and operational procedures
Manage the center's budget, including monitoring expenses, forecasting, and optimizing resource allocation
Utilize data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess center performance and implement improvements
Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development
Assistant Manager of Operations - Requirements:
Good communication and skilled at building relationships
Experience in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated supervisory/management experience
1-2 years experience
Brings extensive industry experience and established network within industry
Skilled in working collaboratively with Senior Management teams, as well as Partners and other key decision makers within the industry
